History

The basis of today's paint factory Neverlak B.V.. was laid about 1870 and did so as a branch of a French paint factory with plants in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Algeria and Morocco.

Around 1924, the factory on Duivendrechtsekade was put into operation, where among other things. the special cold water paint FRESCOLITHE was manufactured.

Just how popular the product FRESCOLITHE was is evidenced by the fact that painters in and around Amsterdam spoke of "FRESCOLITHEN". This was at that time the customary term for treating walls with watercolor, indifferent to which product this was done with.

At Neverlak at Duivendrechtsekade 90 in Amsterdam, the manufacture
of such items as. Frescolithe.
