History

The basis of the current paint factory Neverlak BV was established around 1884
namely as a subsidiary of a French paint factory with offices in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Algeria and Morocco.
Around 1924 the plant at Duivendrechtsekade was put into use. Also the special "cold water paint" FRESCOLITHE was manufactured there.
The popularity of the product FRESCOLITHE was demonstrated by the fact that painters in and around Amsterdam used the verb "FRESCOLITHEN". This was at that time the standard term for treating walls with watercolor, no matter what product it was done.
